On July 5th in Berlin, the Volkswagen Group honored its best suppliers with the “Volkswagen Group Award 2023”. 11 companies were honored in five categories. More than 200 guests from 25 countries traveled to this year’s 19th award ceremony. Representatives from 160 selected supplier companies attended the event in Berlin. The award was presented in five categories: Innovation, Sustainability, Launch of the Year, Local Performance Champion and Global Performance Champion. Oliver Blume, CEO of the Volkswagen Group, Group Board Member Thomas Schmall, Board Member for Development Michael Steiner and Board Member for Procurement Dirk Große-Loheide presented the 11 awards and thanked the best suppliers of the past year for their commitment and cooperation. Dirk Große-Loheide and Thomas Schmall presented the “Local Performance Champion” award to Mr. Raul Danon, Vice Chairman of Teklas.
