As is known, Teklas has factories in Turkey, China, Mexico, USA, Serbia and Bulgaria. A large part of our production volume is produced in our 3 factories in Bulgaria. Our largest plant in Kardzhali employs more than 2500 people.
Due to the continuous expansion of the business, we have a steady increase in turnover every year, regardless of Bulgaria’s economic cycles. We also opened our own R&D center in Kardzhali where 70 qualified specialists work to test materials and finished products.
During the meeting, Mr. Nikola Stoyanov and our management team discussed development plans and the challenges they face here.
Stoyanov said that the state has been exploring possibilities to participate in the establishing an industrial zone in the Kardzhali region. “We believe that the state can participate much more actively in directing investment interest to this region,” he added.
